Project Life Monday Link Up #7

How was everyone's Christmas? I had a lot of running around to do. I don't have a spread to share this week, but I will show you what I've been up to.
Went to Michaels for some new tape, PL cards, and ink pads I want to try out. (Psst! I also purchased the Favorite Things edition! I'll be doing a Closer Look post and running a small giveaway for some of those cards in the near future.)
I've also been trying to find a way to organize all my cards that works for me. Got some really awesome drawer organizers from the dollar store that fit the cards perfectly. I've also completely re-organized my crafting area.
Here are some cards I altered a bit from the Jade Edition. They look adorable.
Washi Tape! Grab them for $1 each at Michaels!

Now on to the linky party!
Please make sure to tell all your friends about it!
Also, don't forget to stop by and say Hi to Karen!

Project Life Monday Link Up #6 and Giveaway

Hello everyone!
First off, I'm excited to announce that I will be co-hosting Project Life Mondays with Karen from Day to Day. We are hoping to bring more attention to this link up! Please let your friends know! We love the inspiration yours posts bring!
I know everyone is working on DD or other holiday-related spreads, but since I don't have my Christmas pictures yet, I'm still working getting everything up to Christmas finalized. Here is the 3rd spread of my sons 1-month-old section.

This is my favorite part of this page. He was in his car seat and we took a bunch of pictures of him, getting some great facial expressions!

I'm also doing my very first giveaway for this link up! I have some cards from the Cobalt Edition that I would love to share! These are just some of the cards I will be giving away.

I'm using Rafflecopter, which most of you are familiar with! Go ahead and enter and a winner will be announced on Sunday!

And now on to the linky party! Make sure to link up Project Life related posts and check out the other links! Also make sure to stop by Karens blog! She's got some great Elf on the Shelf Project Life pages!

Art Journal: For In Dreams

Here is another page from my journal. I used gesso and guache for the background, added strips of magazine paper, and gel pens for the stars. Finished with stickers (which I feel I should have left off) and a nice quote. I feel like this book is going to end up having a lot of my favorite quotes.

Jade Edition: A Closer Look

A couple weeks ago, I got a bunch of PL stuff from Amazon. I gave you an inside look earlier at Cobalt Edition, and here is an inside look at Jade Edition! Up next will be Amber Edition.
Here are your 4x6 first page and last page cards.
4x6 Bifold journaling cards
More 4x6 journaling cards
...and even more 4x6 bifold cards.
Here are some of the title cards. Same design on both sides, cna be used horizontal or vertical
More title cards...
... and the rest of the title cards. And below are all of the 3x4 cards, starting with the 8 first/last page cards.

Personally, I don't care too much for the colors; they're just a tad bit too dull for my tastes. I like a few of the cards, and the rest will most likely get a lot of altering done. If you would like this core kit, you can purchase Jade Edition on Amazon for 30% off right now. (I got mine for $17).

Project Life: Urijah 1 Month Old Pt.2

Here is the second spread of Urijahs "1 Month Old" section of his Project Life. There are 3 spreads total.
Yes, I have been putting 3x4 pictures in 4x4 pockets. To use up the extra space, I cut out 4x4 squares of some scrapbook paper I had laying around.

This was the first time most of his dads family met him. Including his mother, sister, and daughter.
I live this picture of the 3 of them together.
This spread is all pictures taken at my dads ex-wifes family reunion. I'm still close to her family.
On this spread, I used Washi Tape for the 4x4 pockets, and the cards are from Project Life Core Kit - Turquoise Edition .

I'm still working on adding more embellishments. I don't have much laying around since I have never done any scrapbooking before this!

Dream Catcher Art Journal Page

I used Chalk pastels for the background, the feathers I printed out and glued on. I also used gauche, gel pens, and sharpie.
Its still very simple. I haven't added journaling or a quote yet. Still trying to find the right one. Any suggestions?
