So my wonderful mother got me a Nook HD+ for Christmas, and a few weeks ago she gave me money to buy a case. I really liked the KIQ cases on Amazon, and they were super cheap. They didn't have the right size in pink, so I had to get a light blue.
Then later I saw a leopard print one, and I was like, why didn't I get THAT one??? So I had to make mine twice as pretty.
Using Sharpies, Puffy Paint, Acrylic paint, ribbon, 2 types of rhinestones, buttons, and brads, I made something awesome!
I didn't notice the blue rhinestone out of place until after I took the pictures, but it is fixed and all is well now.
Tomorrow I get to decorate 2 more cases, and make a strap for a 3rd on. I'm hoping to have a little help since my case took me 16 hours, not including drying time. I still have to buy some leather sheen to coat the case and stop the marker from rubbing off.
