We all have them. Those sturdy, beautiful boxes out core kits come in that we just can't throw away. Well thanks to a post on Facebook, I now know what we can do with them! I made mine into a type of mini PL album for all my favorite pictures of things I love. But you can also turn it into a keepsake box, a binder, a place to store files, or whatever else you can think of!

I cut out the inside edge so it would close properly after I put in the binder rings. It's still extremely sturdy.
I had to cut out my own holes to fit my SNAP! InstaPockets.
I decorated the outside.
Then the inside.
I added an evolve to hold keepsakes, cards, or photos.

I love the way it turned out. I still have 2 sides to cover, and I need to clean up where I cut one of the sides out, but other than that, I love it! This would make a great gift for a child that wants to Project Life with mommy.

  1. How did you attach the binding?

    1. When you buy the Tim Holtz brand, it comes with 2 bindings and 6 Brads. I just poked a small hole through the spine with and exact knife, and put the brads through it. Make sure you do that before you decorate the spine.
